What’s your favorite part of the day at Watkins Uiberall?
My favorite part of the day is when I mark the last thing off my to-do list. Each day I set goals for myself, and it’s a great feeling when I’ve finally accomplished all of them and I am able to scratch that last item off my list.

What is your daily routine like at the firm?
I don’t think I really have a daily routine, which is one of the great things about being an auditor. Every day is different. Most days consist of problem solving, talking to clients and working with numbers.

How have your relationships with co-workers affected your work experience at the firm?
I have made friends with most of my colleagues. I feel like everyone has gone out of their way to make me feel welcome. Having these new relationships makes coming to work a pleasant experience.

What are you passionate about in your career and how do you get to apply that passion each day?
I am most passionate about helping people and doing something that has purpose. I am also very hard working. I want to display a work ethic that makes the Members proud to have me on their team.

How do you work towards your personal career goals on a daily basis?
In the first few years of my career my goal is to learn as much as possible. So I strive daily to solve problems and concentrate on retaining the new knowledge.

Sara joined Watkins Uiberall as an intern in March 2008. She accepted a full-time position with the firm in August 2009, after receiving a Masters of Accountancy degree from the University of Missouri.
